  1. Hello Gino,
Your music and message has been a key component in my daily life since I first discovered you while living in central Georgia in 1977. I saw you in Atlanta the following year and was completely blown away by the production….but the music….and your voice….oh…they reached into my soul and grabbed it fully with a wonderment and an enrichment I have never lost….and will never release. Now in my late 50’s and fighting Stage IV Melanoma….I put on my headphones….maybe Gist of the Gemini….or some other magical elixir of sound and you take everything away. I served in the USAF for 22 years….so “To the War” has special meaning for me…..as does every one of your songs. My wife and I came to see you in CLearwater FL last year. She quickly understood my infatuation with the notes and the magic you make! I notice your current tour schedule does not have Florida as a stop….hoping that will change somehow. If not…..I will find a way to make it to a stop on the tour. “Thank you” is not nearly strong enough to express what you have done for me over the years and in so many ways. You have been my lifeboat, my magic carpet, my light at the end of long, dark tunnels….God Bless You Gino!!! Rock on….and much love…Brother to brother!!!

  2. Your music was one of the powerful reasons that made me move from Mexico to Montreal a few years ago. I’m a music composer, a big fan of your work and I found my place in the city were your musical roots (and my also admired Cirque du Soleil) were born. I even named my younger son after you… Gino! And still I have had no chance to see you live. Last time at the Rialto I could not afford to pay my entry. This year I see Montreal is not part of your tour, so I’ll need to make a big effort in order to travel to Domaine Forget in Saint-Irénée, but I can’t miss your concert again. Throughout all your discography I can feel a perfect balance between evolving harmony, contagious rhythm, touching melodies and inspired lyrics, all in perfectly textured arrangements full of virtuosity. You and your team are simply the best! Thanks for your legacy!

  4. Hello Gino
Firstly happy new year. Wishing you all the very best for 2017 health happiness and continued success. My best friend Andrea and I are huge fans and Andrea recently suffered a massive heart attack. She is only 50 years old and a non smoker and in great physical condition. So thus heart attack was a big shock to her and her family and friends. Luckily she will be fine. She has to be monitored closely by her dr. She is out of the hospital and is home recuperating. I realize you are extremely busy and I would not ask if I didn’t think what I’m about to ask you would just cheer her up as she has been very depressed lately. Do you think you could just send her a quick get well video. It would mean the world to her. You could email it to me and I will show it to her. Hoping to hear from you and thank you for taking the time to read my message. Sincerely Stacy

Thank you for being such an inspiration and your music has sweetened my life for nearly 40 years!!!

  8. Hey Gino, We’d all love to see you come back to the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We’ve seen you every time you’ve been in our area dating back to 1974. Such great music! Our best to you and your family.
    Rick and Rebecca

  9. Hey Gino, We don’t know one another of course. Just want to gently say…keep on going dude. Loved your sound for a long time (I’m 62). Jazz fusion…yeah! Love that you are still doing it. Regards Conrad Fritz.

  10. I have loved your music for all of my life. I am so glad to learn that you are still as strong as ever and still performing for the adoring fans and audiences who are there to support you. You ROCK!

  11. Hello Gino,
I saw your concert back in the late 70’s and have to say it was the best concert I have ever seen! I have not forgotten it!
In fact the reason I am sending this email is because having never forgotten, a friend of mine in Arizonia went to see you and put her picture on FB saying she and her husband went to your concert….I was so jealous…she said you are always on tour..so I checked but you are not scheduled to visit metro Detroit. Will you ever tour here again? Please come visit!
All the best to one of the best,
    Michele

  12. Gino you have always been my favorite artist and I have seen a lot of great ones. Your style mixing Jazz fusion, rock and funk is like magic. I have seen you live many times starting in the 70’s! right up to last year in Niagara Falls NY. I got a chance to chat with you and your drummer who is an incredible drummer. I play drums myself and you have always had a great band playing with you. Love you brother. Can’t wait till April see in the Falls. Keep rocking my friend.

  13. I feel such emotion seeing you perform in this video recently in Rome. Such an amazing talent you are, and a beautiful human being. I have been a huge fan since discovering you in the mid-70s when I heard Storm at Sunup played straight through on a jazz station while driving a Corvette with t-tops open on a perfect summer night. It was a moment in my life’s musical journey I will never forget. I went to your first concert in Tulsa, OK, and was completely mesmerized by your performance. To this day, I rank it among my top 5 ever. When I found your video of concert footage in the late 80s, I was obsessed, watching it over and over. My son was born a musician (about the same time I first saw you in concert – I may have been pregnant at the time) and he has fed my soul for almost 40 years with his gift, even recording a stunning cover of Summers of My Life for me for my birthday a few years ago. He is also a huge fan obviously. My husband told me yesterday (Valentine’s Day) he heard you were coming here and I immediately purchased tickets for us to see you in The Woodlands, TX, on March 23. I am beyond excited. I’ll probably cry when I hear you in person again! Thank you for coming to Texas!

  14. Hi to Joe, Ross and Gino:
Back in the old days, you had a studio in Agoura Hills, CA.
The studio above you was Video Effects Group.
I was one of the main editors there, working with Greg Pineda.
You also may have known my ex-wife Jill, who worked at Victor Benes bakery in the Gelsons market. She was a big fan.
I still have several of your albums and enjoy playing them.
Nice to see you are still active and singing.
The 2017 band video looked and sounded great!
    Best Regards,
    Rory McDonald

  15. Hi GINO , wanted to say how much of an inspiration and influence you and your remarkable music has been to my life. Be a fan since crazy life, but only just recently saw you live at coachella CA, what a phenomenal concert you gave! My wife and I met you after and I told you how much you have influenced my life, I was a bit star struck. Anyway GINO I hope you will always tour and I get another chance to see you live ! I always thought you were other worldly because of the music you made in the 70’s, so sophisticated and soulful for a person of your age at that time

  16. I lost track of you for many years but about a year ago popped your Yonder Tree CD into my player and was struck by how much I missed your artistry from my younger years–I’m a about your age. When I viewed the Saban Theater performance on You Tube I was totally blown away and said I have got to see Gino and the band! My wife and I traveled to Scottsdale last month to see you and absolutely loved the show! Better than ever–but it seemed the sound system in the venue was not the best so we are traveling to Bethesda in April to hear you again in a better environment. We really appreciate your coming out to share your musical talents as well as that fabulous band you have put together–I am awestruck by their musicianship and the tightest of sounds that only come from the very best! Thanks again for sharing your love of and talent in music with the world!

  17. Been a fan, along time, The first time i heard you was a commercial for you, performing mama coco, a snippet of your music. went with my future wife, to W. Philly. first song, “The love of my life”. i was hooked. been to 10 concerts of yours, last in augusta Georgia. Still ‘LOML” is the best start of your concerts. GeorgIa had a nice change to your selections, you were terrific. Will be in Maryland on the 6th of April.

  18. Have been a huge fan since 1977. No one comes close to your talent. Wish you would come to Reno?! Will get to a concert come heck or high water.

  19. Hi Gino. I just saw you at the Bethesda Jazz and Supper Club on April 7th. I saw you in your mid-20’s and 10 years ago in Las Vegas. I can honestly say that your voice sounds better than ever. Several people in the audience said that if they closed their eyes, they would swear they were listening to a recording. You do not hear that too often, particularly in most live performances today. You were so engaging, funny and kind….a true showman….and seriously, you should be deemed a musical treasure. Hope to see you perform again soon. Thank you for sharing your glorious talents with us.

  20. Hi Gino, so glad to see so many stories, all of the personal confessions of pure delight and inspiration. I will spare you mine but so many others say many of the things I think and feel about your lyrics and arrangements, all done so masterfully,. I am glad to have caught your performance on February 26, 2017 at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Palm Springs and hope to see you here in Oakland CA. in November. I thank the Creator for your wonderful spirit along with Joe and Ross

  21. Last night I couldn’t sleep, and as people do at times, some of the highlights of my life started passing through my mind. I thought of the first GINO VANNELLI concert I attended with my friend ! That is when I started watching you sing some of my favorite songs and I ended staying up till 5 am watching your LA concert online. Obviously I know you won’t remember this, but my friend & I heard you’d be signing autographs at a bar in N. Orleans after the concert… We quickly drove over there and were the first ones there– and there you were
with your black, wild hair & bright shirt & we couldn’t believe we were in the same room with you after watching that INSANELY great performance you gave–you brought down the house ! You autographed my album I had brought along, and you said to me ” you look Italian” LOL and at the time I didn’t KNOW I had Italian in my ancestry so–being awestruck & tongue-tied that you were speaking to me–all I managed to say was ‘ no, no no ‘ LOL
Funny thing is you were correct ! I had my DNA tested recently and I DO have Italian in me ! Anyway just a funny story I’ve always remembered. I thought you were so kind and friendly, and you made my year ! Absolutely love your music and your magnificent voice, which is still just as great as when you were younger ! p.s. don’t take offense to this, but I named my poodle after you ! LOL I meant it as the highest form of flattery 🙂 Thank you Gino for all the years of fantastic music ! You are a true artist !!

  22. I watch Lucas episode on Walker Texas Ranger and the song A Rose in December got to me and I would like to know how I can get it in a single one or album.Hope to hear from you on this request. Thanks you.

  23. Ciao, Gino! I was ten and knew living inside my self by my older sister. Since that time I never forgot your songs that made success in Brazil. Now I’m 46 and making karaoke including living and I don’t wanna stop and Hurts in the app. Thank you so much and a bunch for your music. I Hope you have health, more success, good life, love and too much light, brother in God. Ciao again, haha!
