Good afternoon, I am hoping this email will reach Mr. Vannelli… I had never seen him perform so I was ecstatic when I heard he was coming to Michigan, Last night was sad for me because the sound quality was awful! The band was too loud, literally drowning him out with tons of feedback and buzzing. The Andiamo is not a large venue – the operator of the sound board needed more rehearsal time?
Where were his background singers?? His musicians were very talented – but THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE SINGERS!
I’m always being told that – that was then and this is now, I did not think this statement would apply last night. It is my hope that the items mentioned are at least thought about as no one wants to be disappointed.
