Thanks Gino for sharing a glimps of life with your beautiful Aussies. Glad Live in LA on Blue Ray is selling so well and doing my part to spread the word how excellant the performance, production and sound is. When we can’t make it to a concert, we do the next best thing and pop it into our DVD player, dim the lights, watch it on the big screen and listen in surround sound.
Gino,
I apologize,
I had the website open 2 weeks ago and I failed to express my Gratitude.
Somehow, I was called away from posting that days/comment,
So Humbly, My belated message would be:
Thank you for hearing my voice and scheduling a stop in Calgary,
Even if you didn’t here pleas,
Thank you for stopping in Calgary
For what it’s worth, 2 weeks ago I became the proud owner of ~second row
dream/wish maker center stage seats.
…Simply because about 2 weeks ago I stopped in here for a quick read/update.
And at the time, it turns out the Calgary show was just freshly announced.
So I consider my self lucky to have gotten 2nd row ~~~centerish stage.
Thank You!
I will be the guy in the second row with the long old grey beard singing along with a perma-smile all by myself in amongst my new found friends of which I’m sure there will be some girlies.
Thank You,
The last time I saw you was at the Calgary Stamped Grounds ~10 years ago so this will be a most special day for me (and I’m sure for my new found co-concert girlie neighbors)
Thank You Gino.
But can I just say one thing?
Last time at the stampede,
I yelled out from the crowd while waving my supportive fist.
Gino, Please Play Some Of The Earliest of Power Hits From The 70’s,
For what it’s worth,
the radio played us “Black Cars” and Wild Horses’
A million million Million times over.. and they still do it today.
-Hey, That’s the Radio
That’s AR/PR boys/job.
But come on, I am a fan since the days in the very early 70’s
and many of us here are the same early 70’s died in the wool non top forty radio Incasts.
Please,
Just like when you rewrote your scores for the Netherlands.
And you taught them new tricks,
Would you consider advancing beyond “black cars’
and add scoring pieces for your own new/old band and
Bringing us back to the greatest of sounds/years with songs like
1)FLY INTO THIS NIGHT
2)ONE NIGHT WITH YOU (please)
3)POWERFUL PEOPLE
5)ONE NIGHT WITH YOU

Public Relations guys incorrectly think,
Charlie Daniels best sounds came from HIS most powerful and personnel songs/writing,

at a loss and without simple words in humbly describing
the power of your drive circa 1974.
PS, I’m sure if you asked your brother he would also agree to kindly mention that guys like Charlie Daniels need to rise above “the devil went down to Georgia”
even if it means re-scoring EXCELLENT OLD FORGOTTEN work for newly sought out band members.
P.S. encase you haven’t noticed, I am also a long term Charlie Daniels Fan, not to Mention Micheal Franks (Albums: The Art of Tea, Island Life, etc. songs: Woman in The Waves and so much more)

Gino,
You, so much more among others might be able to answer this?
What happened to Micheal Pagliaro?
Why doesn’t he tour ?
Or if he does tour,
Why doesn’t tour west of his home town?
Or maybe, Why doesn’t he tour outside of his comfort Zone?
Have you ever toured with Micheal?
Why have you two not toured together? Recently?
Why not tour together now?
There was so much talent in Montreal in the early 70’s
-Lucky for us out west, the new “Canadian Content” Legislation “Forced” unknowns onto us westerners thru CKXL, 630 CHED and 1410 CFUN.
I miss those days,
April,
1972,
cold nights,
rain/fog/drizzle
and distant music
drifting in and out
from Unknown locals….
What a time to live n Canada, we were all so blessed
God Bless Micheal Pagliaro,
God Bless Gino Vannelli
Some Sing
Some Dance
Some Rock and Rollmance
I love Lovin You……………………….
Met you when I was 16 years old and it left a lasting impression on me. I learned every beat and lyric of every song you ever did and went through my 20’s and 30’s, sharing in questioning life’s meaning and personal struggles through your songs’s lyrics. Now , years later , at 57 , I still wake up from a dream you were in. and question why after all this time does my soul still yearn to see you- to make sure you’re okay and still doing what you were called to do. I say a prayer for you and check online to see if you’ll be visiting a city near me. Some how that soul connection established through your music years ago has kept me bound to you. God s way of getting me to pray for you, I guess. You visited a city close to me last year and I refused to go because I didn’t want to visit those strong emotions that your music conjurs up in me I probably will never see you again at a concert –only in my dreams, but you will remain in my heart forever. So I guess you have a silent guardian angel , awakened from another dream through the years , praying for you, believing for your continued strength, health, success, and happiness in every area of your life.
I met you in New Orleans during your birthday tour.
The show was fabulous and you were so gracious and
took the time to talk and sign autographs. I love
your songs and especially Wheels of Life. It never
fails to bring tears to my eyes.
Best Wishes!
